Manchester City are interested in bringing Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos to the Etihad on a free transfer.
The veteran defender’s deal at the Bernabeu runs out in the summer and City are closely monitoring the situation, according to ESPN
Despite coming up against Ramos (pictured above) in numerous El Clasico showdowns during his time as Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the Spain international.
Whether or not Ramos, 34, renews his contract at Real remains to be seen.
But if he opts against ending his storied career in the Spanish capital, City want to place themselves at the front of the queue for his services.
They are unlikely to be alone, with Tottenhampreviously linked and many of Europe’s big clubs expected to hold an interest in the centre-back.
