Manchester City are interested in bringing Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos to the Etihad on a free transfer.

The veteran defender’s deal at the Bernabeu runs out in the summer and City are closely monitoring the situation, according to ESPN

Despite coming up against Ramos (pictured above) in numerous El Clasico showdowns during his time as Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the Spain international.

Whether or not Ramos, 34, renews his contract at Real remains to be seen.

But if he opts against ending his storied career in the Spanish capital, City want to place themselves at the front of the queue for his services.

They are unlikely to be alone, with Tottenhampreviously linked and many of Europe’s big clubs expected to hold an interest in the centre-back.

Wolves have entered the race to sign wantaway Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen as they look to arrest a stuttering season.

Eriksen swapped Spurs for Inter 12 months ago but has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro, finding himself out of Antonio Conte’s plans.

Arsenal and West Ham have both been linked with the 29-year-old, who is also wanted by a host of other clubs abroad, and now Wolves have contacted the Dane’s agents.

Report Eriksen’s former club Ajax are also keen on taking him back to the Dutch capital.

Manchester United would be interested in sorting out a swap deal with Juventus for Paul Pogba to leave Old Trafford.

Pogba, 27, has failed to justify the £80million United spent on him in 2016 and the midfielder’s second spell in Manchester looks set to end this summer.

Reports in Italy claim United view a swap as the best option, although they are yet to identify who they would want in return.

The Mirror believe Aaron Ramsey would not feature on their list, meaning the Red Devils may ask forPaulo Dybala, who has also been tipped to leave Turin at the end of the season.

Bayern Munich are eyeing a shock move for Reading full-back Omar Richards.

Richards, 22, is out of contract at the end of the season and the German giants have told the Royals they wish to speak to him.
